Atravix® vs Trading Signals: What Is The Difference?
Trading signal services and trade decision platforms serve fundamentally different purposes. Atravix® is a trading decision intelligence platform — it helps traders assess their own trade decisions. It is not, and has never been, a trading signal service.
What Is A Trading Signal Service?
A trading signal service provides users with directional trading recommendations — typically indicating which instrument to trade, in which direction and at what level. Signals may be generated by algorithms, analysts or other traders.
Signal services may or may not require regulatory authorisation depending on jurisdiction and the nature of the signals provided.
What Does Atravix® Do Instead?
Atravix® takes the opposite approach. Rather than telling traders what to trade, the platform helps traders build strategies and assess their own trade decisions:
- The trader builds a documented strategy using the Strategy Builder
- The platform guides the trader through a structured Trade Decision Engine assessment
- Each dimension is scored to produce a Trade Quality Score
- The trader makes their own decision based on their own analysis
- The decision is logged in the Decision Journal for post-trade review
Atravix® does not know what you should trade. It helps you examine whether your own trade decision is well-structured and well-supported.
Why The Distinction Matters
Signal services create reliance on external judgement. Atravix® builds internal process. The two are fundamentally different tools for fundamentally different purposes.
Atravix® is for traders who want to develop their own analytical process — not for traders looking for someone else to make their trading decisions.
